I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Norma Cruson, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT-S license #63398. I earned my undergraduate in Music Therapy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and my master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I have over ten years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan—from early childhood through end-of-life care— including individuals who are neurodivergent.
My clinical experience includes working with concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and trauma, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, domestic violence, substance use, suicidal ideation, adoption-related issues, behavioral and emotional disturbances, grief, school challenges, self-esteem, sexual abuse, spirituality, stress, and major life transitions.
As a person-centered counselor, I believe in meeting each client where they are and tailoring therapy to fit their unique needs. My goal is to help clients rediscover confidence, build competence, and experience meaningful change through a compassionate and attuned therapeutic relationship grounded in unconditional positive regard.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Music Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Activity Therapy, IFS, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, as well as somatic and mindfulness-based practices to reduce anxiety, enhance emotional awareness, define their stories and identify the strengths that guide their growth.
Having lived and traveled in many countries, I bring a culturally informed perspective to my work. I approach every client with respect, curiosity, and empathy—believing that each person already possesses the internal resources needed for healing and transformation.
